A love I would die for

“This couple can’t be real” I hear people say. “That Groom is most certainly an actor” my colleague tells me. Well ladies and gentlemen. She’s real. He’s real. This is Dafi and Joanne’s love story……..Enjoy!

I had hoped it would be you

Darren & Latoya steal our hearts with their romantic charm and pure sugar sweetness! Mindarie Marina was the perfect setting for this gorgeous couple to take the next step on their incredible journey together!

I have finally found my Queen

It’s so good to be back filming love! What a way to kick things off with Elias and Sarah’s unbelievable wedding. It was a celebration like I have never experienced before!!

I love you Bee, and will continue to love you for the rest of our lives

Me:
Nothing could make me cry more than when Rose let go of Jack in Titanic.

Anita and Theo:
Hold my beer.

Wow, where do I begin. Anita and Theo absolutley floored me with their incredible love story. I have so much goodness captured, that it was a real challenge to figure out what to keep and what to cut. I mean they even recorded Theo’s proposal from last year and gave me all the footage to use in their wedding film!!

I could honestly go on forever, but I think it’s better to let their film to do the talking.

The day I met you, was the day I met my perfect match

Steph had to travel to the other side of the world to find her Scott, which just proves that fate always find a way of uniting two souls destined to be together.

Scott and Steph got hitched on the beautiful shores of Matilda Bay late last year. This has to be one of the more emotional ceremonies of the season, from their amazing vows to a beautiful poem chosen by Steph for her late mother, Linda, whose presence was definitely felt by all in attendance.

I then had my first experience of listening to “house” music while a Saxophone player layed down some sweet sax tones over the top! It was a wild party and I’m thrilled to have played a small part in their amazing day.

I am so looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you

A long time ago, back when we were all allowed to congregate on a beach, Matt and Laura had a beautiful wedding. Ah what I wouldn’t give to go back to that day now!

A ceremony and reception on the shores of City Beach made for a truly picturesque wedding. I am particularly in love with the sunset shots we captured before we partied the night away!

#Lauren&Mitchgethitched

Lauren and Mitch pulled off a wedding for the ages, and it was an absolute honour to capture it for them.

This wild party was held at Mitch’s very own family property. I was told the grass I was standing on was not there just one year prior, and it was a huge job to have everything ready on time. I personally struggle to make sandwiches let alone put together an epic backyard wedding! Even the finest of establishments would be proud of this.

The venue looked absolutely incredible on the day, but no more so than Lauren herself, who brightened up this already sunny October day. I absolutely loved every part of this wedding, and honestly wish I could go back!

I can't wait to start our married life, and be just like Pam and Jim

A few days after Josh and Melissa tied the knot, my wife turned to me and said “Can you PLEASE stop singing Rick Astley!” but I couldn’t help myself. This is because I was still reminiscing over Josh and Mel’s epic first dance routine……..NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP, NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN……..I better stop before my wife divorces me.

These two legends got married on a beautiful October Afternoon at the Oakover Grounds, in the beautiful Swan Valley. The fun and laughter never stopped from start to finish. I love that they both don’t take life to seriously, and truly set out to enjoy their big day. They possess a wonderful sense of humour (listen to their vows for reference) and I think this film really captures the essence of their relationship.

I can't wait to start the next chapter in life with you

If if i ever get asked what my 3 favourite Italian films are, I will say the following:

Cinema Paradiso, Suspiria, and Tina and Giuliano’s wedding film

It was a truly incredible day. This film is all about family and friends coming together in celebration of Tina and Giuliano’s union. Tina made the most beautiful bride, and Giuliano really filled out his awesome custom Italian suit (I really need to get to the gym more).

Today is only the beginning of the rest of our lives together

“I’m not crying, you’re crying” is what my wife just said as she reviewed Will and Dom’s film for me. I knew where she was coming from. I too had wept like a giant man baby while putting this gorgeous film together. What can I say about this day. Epic, beautiful, emotional……there really aren’t enough words to describe it. The day began with Will and Dom reflecting on their relationship and how they got to this point (Will spoke for about 5 minutes with no notes, UNREAL) We then witnessed the most beautiful, and slightly comedic vows, which gave us a great insight into the love they share. All before absolutely lighting up the dance floor in one of the most fun receptions I have ever attended!

I Promise you a life filled with great love, laughter, and lots of lasagne

I met Steve and Deenikka over a few drinks in the city. I distinctly remember thinking to myself ” Man, I wish a could grow a beard that awesome!”…….My next thought was of excitement, as I knew I had a really awesome couple in front of me

My favourite story is that of their first I love you. Deenikka had been wanting to say it for some time, and was waiting for the right opportunity. Under the stars of their family home, Steve took Deenikka into his arms for a dance. Deenikka looked into his eyes and said those 3 words she had been longing to say. “I love you”.
Steve replied in the only way a scruffy looking Nerf Herder knows how………”I know”.

You are my new dream, and my dream wouldn't be complete without you in it

Once Upon a Time, there was a Disney obsessed princess, and a Ballroom dancing Prince. Together they conjured one of the coolest weddings i’ve ever attended! Seriously, this wedding had it all:

1. A Disney themed wedding – including a memorable rendition of the wedding scene from the classic film “The Princess Bride”.

2. Vows that made me weep (Walt would be proud).

3. A Husband and Wife Arcade battle for the ages (SPOILERS Jackie won).

4. The greatest first dance i’ve ever witnessed! I had to stop myself from dancing while behind the camera.

It truly was a magical day filled with love and laughter (and epic dancing).

Together with you is my favourite place to be

What a year 2019 was for James. Not only did he get to watch Liverpool win the Uefa Champions League (greatest team in the world), but he also got to marry the love of his life, Rachel (She looked A-MAZING).

I had an absolute blast filming their epic day. James and Rachel tied the knot on the beautiful grounds of UWA, and then partied the night away at the Boatshed. I’d be stoked if you’d take a peek at their stunning day.

I wouldn't be half the person I am today, without you by my side

December was a massive month for Greg and Rochelle, from moving in to their newly built home, preparing for the arrival of friends and family from the UK, to organising a wedding! I don’t know how they managed to pull it all off. I can’t help but get stressed when I open the fridge, and all the chocolate is gone!

When I was filming Greg during his speech, I knew instantly that I was going to build this film around those beautiful words spoken. The rest of the film just fell together organically. It was an absolute pleasure to be surrounded by so much love, and laughter.

I would rather spend one lifetime with you, than face all the ages of this world alone

This film took a little bit longer to edit than usual. No, not from the stress caused from my 4 month old who loves to roll off furniture at any given opportunity (well maybe just a little bit), but because it is incredibly challenging to create a highlight film when there have been so many special moments throughout the day.

Jess and Andrew’s day was as magical as their relationship. From the tearful and comedic vows, to the brides incredible rendition of “Ice Ice Baby”, all set at the beautiful Margaret River Secret Gardens.
